Does love to lap tops or sex with steam aggregate exists? In our crazy world everything is possible. Doctors already more than twenty years guess at reasons of strange “objectphile” sexual need.

November 9th, 1989 was the most horrible day in Eija-Riita Eklof-Mauer’s life. Not the least “blasphemous” murder took place on 11th September, 2001 in New York. Directly outside Berlin resident’s Sandy Klinsman “lovers” were put to death. Different stories and the same, tragic end…

In 1979 Eija-Riita Eklof has tied the knot with... Berlin Wall. Since then she officially has hyphenated name (Mauer – from Deutch “wall”). But Sandy Klinsman was ardently in love with New York Twin Towers. The deceased “lovers” were not a good company or skilled lovers, but however, women saw tough guys in them, sexual and desired…

“Craving for objects may be so strong, that in love sphere I feel exceptional craving for things, I cannot imagine love connection with a man” – says Sandy. In sexual attraction to objects girl is along. She for few years already belongs to German objectphilos and objectsexuals society.

Frankfurt Institute sexology professors Volkmar Sigusch see the explanation of these phenomena in that society more and more moves in side of asexuality: “More and more people fundamentally and openly manage without intimate and trusting relations with another person”.

“We live in such conditions when some things that were censured in the old days, seemed to be inaccessible or shameful, enter in free circulation, - notices the scientist. – Today we are talking about things that were assumed to be hidden before”.

Objectsexualists are often mixed up with fetishists, but they are completely different people. For example, a car for fetishist is an object through which it positions only himself. For objectsexual, on the contrary, the car is extremely desirable sexual partner, around whom all his sexual fantasies and emotions turn.

41 years old German Joachim has discovered his “original” orientation when he was a teenager. For many years now Joachim has dating with… steam engine. Once a week they make sex with it that gives real pleasure to Joachim. “To object-partner it is possible to intimately show and open that cannot be opened to any person” – considers Joachim.

Sometimes “lovers” look makes full valuable contacts problematic. However, objectsexuals find pragmatic exits from such situation. So, Sandy Klansman has ordered a model of Twin Towers for her in scale 1:1000. The copy’s front is made of the same materials that the destroyed original.

Student- psychologist Bill Rifke like all objectphiles loves his lover very much – notebook. “For me – my Macintosh is man. I live, so to speak, in homosexual partnership.” Strange homosexual disposition towards objects shares also 40 years old Cologne resident Doro B. Once during the work she has gazed at metal working machine and “at the first sight felt its female essence”.

Professor Sigusch is not given to consider such people sick or crazy. “Objectphiles don’t harm, violate other people and don’t injure morally,- he says and add: - Is it possible to say this about everybody?”
